Resources for Understanding Water Treatment Technologies

waterfall Welcome to Earthpace's Web guide to water treatment technologies.

Although the United Nations has identified access to adequate amounts of water as a "basic human right," many areas throughout the world do not have reliable access to clean drinking water or improved sanitation facilities.

Emerging technologies, including solar water purification and point-of-use disinfection, can improve the quality of drinking water. Earthpace works to identify these technologies and to educate decision makers and the public on their applications.

These categories offer links to background information on the various types of technologies being employed to assess and increase water quality.
